The six are the top participants in a Quranic plan titled Shoq Telavat (enthusiasm for Quran recitation), held in Iran earlier this year.
They left Tehran for Beirut on Thursday and have already attended a number of programs in the capital city and elsewhere.
In one of them held to mark the demise anniversary of Imam Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, they recited the Quran and performed Tawasheeh (religious singing).
The group’s visit to the Arab country is aimed at encouraging the young Quran activists to continue their Quranic activities more enthusiastically and gain experience in Quran recitation at the international level.
They will stay in Lebanon until Friday, June 8, the 23rd day of the holy month of Ramadan.
